Our first stop in Beaufort was the visitors center which was next door to the old library and this beauty was out front.
The main street was quite busy and and the were plenty of restaurants most of which had patios out back with a great view of the harbour.
We picked Luther’s which advertised the best burger in town.
And gave us this view of the harbour and park.
So of course I had the hamburger which was very good and so was the beer.
We didn’t hang around to hear Irritating Julie.
After lunch we wandered down the main street to this park which had beautiful homes across the street.
Not bad looking places, and well protected, with a cannon out front.
Any good lunch deserves a great dessert and we found an ice cream shop with lots of flavours -- we settled on Pistachio and Pralines and cream and they were good.
Then we headed back through the park to the harbour where we had parked. It was a great day in the south
